If Brazil is going to have a shot at covering this game—let alone winning—it’s going to have to rebound better. It had just a three-rebound edge against Tunisia and that won’t cut it against Team USA; the Americans dominated Slovenia 50-33 on the glass. Brazil’s leading rebounder was Barbosa with six, and the guard certainly isn’t going to muck it up with the likes of Love.

Although the results in Belgium were not a true reflection of the pace of its two cars, the team was delighted that both set front-running lap times, with car 23 holding second place and challenging for the lead – even with 50-kilos of success ballast on board. However, with a drive train problem forcing it into retirement with two laps to go and with car 22 involved in clashes with other cars, the team unusually finished out of the points in both races.

Therefore, with the experience gained at Spa, added to further progress made during a successful test at Snetterton last week, the team is extremely upbeat about its chances to get back into the top three this weekend. Further helping the team’s aspirations to get both of its cars on the podium this weekend, will be the loss of ‘Balance of Performance’ ballast: car 22 running with none and car 23 having its allocation reduced to 10 kilos.

Out of the ten races (two per round) held so far, Sumo Power GT has scored an impressive five podium finishes, with a first, a second and three third places – results that see it third in the teams’ points table at the season’s half-way point. In the drivers’ standings, Michael Krumm and Peter Dumbreck in car 23 are ninth and Warren Hughes and Jamie Campbell-Walter in car 22 are tenth, both only a few points behind their closest rivals.

As usual, weather and track conditions will also play a significant part in performance and strategy this weekend, together with the all-important management of tyres, championship regulations imposing a limit of four sets of slicks per car to cover qualifying and both one-hour races.

Of the 12 teams, 24 cars and 48 drivers that make up the FIA GT1 World Championship grid, most are familiar with the 3.23-mile (5.2-kilometre) German Grand Prix circuit and, in particular, two of the Sumo Power GT drivers. For Michael Krumm, this is his home track and one where he began his carer, winning his very first Formula Ford race at the ‘Ring. Jamie Campbell-Walter also has good memories of the track as, driving a Lister Storm, he notably won the last FIA GT race held here in 2001.

On defense Adamek has holes. Adamek can be hit fairly easily with right-hands and can he can be cut. Adamek leaves his head in the line of fire for too long and his chin is suspect as a heavyweight.

The early exit in Toronto, however, has left Baghdatis fresh for this week and the rest has clearly worked wonders, with wins this week over Marin Cilic, Thomaz Bellucci, Tomas Berdych and world number one Rafael Nadal.

Federer is unsurprisingly favourite to advance to Sunday's final, but Baghdatis is sure to have his backers today.Federer will be keen to go all the way this week as he fine tunes his game ahead of the 2010 US Open which starts at the end of the month. It's hard to see the world number two losing tonight, despite Baghdatis' win over Nadal this week, although it would not be surprised if this one goes to a third and deciding set.

Kane came out and after stopping the attack he cashed in his title shot and easily won the title. Rey earned this rematch by beating Jack Swagger in a #1 Contenders Best-of-3 Falls Match against Jack Swagger.

Events leading to this match: The contestants from season one of WWE NXT formed an alliance after the competition ended and have wrecked havoc on the WWE for the past few months. The men have beaten up many members of the RAW roster in 7-on-1 sneak attacks. The RAW superstars finally got together to even the odds. Unfortunately for Team Cena, the Great Khali has been injured at the hands of Nexus and will not be able to compete in this match. The team is currently short one member.

Federer has looked back on song this week, winning a couple of close matches against Tomas Berdych and Novak Djokovic. His 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 win over Djokovic was particularly pleasing for the Swiss as it was the sort of tight match he has struggled to come through this year and it takes him back to number two in the rankings.

Federer will be aiming for his first Masters 1000 title since Cincinnati last year and his third Rogers Cup crown. History is against Murray as no player has successfully defending their Rogers Cup title since Andre Agassi back in 1995.

Murray narrowly leads the head-to-head 6-5. He went through a patch from 2008-2009 where he beat the Swiss four times in a row, including wins at the Madrid Masters and Indian Wells. However Federer has won their last three – 6-2, 7-6 in the Cincinnati semis last August, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at the ATP World Finals at the end of the year and most importantly, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 in the Australian Open final this year.

Whenever they have played before in finals – in Melbourne this year and at the US Open in 2008, Federer has suddenly raised his game to sweep Murray aside in straight sets and as a result he will be strong favourite today.
