Roger Federer takes on Jo-Wilfried Tsonga tonight in the quarter-finals of the US Open - providing the weather holds up and rain does not cause further delays at Flushing Meadows.
Federer is looking look to avenge memories of his five-set defeat at Wimbledon in New York.The Swiss Maestro was two sets up against Tsonga at the All-England Club earlier this summer before losing in five - the first time in his career he has lost from that position. Tsonga then proved it was no fluke by outplaying Federer in Montreal.

The Swiss has been struggling to deal with the huge hitters like Tsonga and Tomas Berdych recently, finding himself a little overpowered.
Federer was extremely impressive in the last round as he destroyed Argentina's Juan Monaco, but it was Tsonga who made all the headlines by taking down Mardy Fish in five pulsating sets, with America's best hope for success at Flushing Meadows crashing and burning 6-4 6-7 3-6 6-4 6-2.
